About Dr. Wentz
Dr. Wentz has subspecialty training in trauma and focuses on both pediatric and adult fracture care. His special areas of clinical interest include pelvis and acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures and complex polytrauma patients.
Dr. Wentz is the program director of the University of Nevada Las Vegas Orthopaedic Residency Program. He also has appointments to UNSOM and UNLV as an assistant professor where he teaches and mentors residents, medical students and college students.
He has published a variety of scientific articles and a textbook chapter related to orthopedic trauma care. Dr. Wentz presents annually at multiple local and national meetings and teaches the latest techniques in fracture care to other medical personnel.
