How urgent care works

Our urgent care providers include doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They are specially trained for urgent situations. Go to urgent care when your doctor is not available. You don’t need an appointment and most locations offer extended hours.

Do you need emergency care?

If it’s a true emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room (ER) right away.

Symptoms may include:

  • Chest pain
  • Bleeding that won’t stop
  • Numbness in the face, arm or leg


Go straight to the ER if you have a serious condition like:

  • Coughing or vomiting up blood
  • Deep cuts
  • Seizures
  • Severe pain in your abdomen
  • Severe burns
  • Sudden severe headache
  • Sudden blurred vision that doesn’t go away
