2 Talk with your care team about your health history and current medications. Be sure to bring up any concerns you may have about the cost of your treatment or medications.
3 Switch your medical records to us from your previous clinics and doctors.
Learn about your Medicare choices
If you qualify, you can sign up for a Medicare plan during the Annual Enrollment Period. It’s typically from mid-October to early December. You might be able to join a plan at other times during the year, depending on your situation. For example:
- You turn 65. This is called your Medicare Initial Enrollment Period.
- You move out of your current plan’s service area.
- You have a long-term medical problem that qualifies you for a special Medicare plan.
