  • ACOs are groups of local health care providers who work together to make sure their Medicare patients get the right care, when and where they need it.

    When everyone on your health care team talks to each other and works as a team, they can better manage your health and help lower your costs. The goal is to prevent medical errors and the need to have the same services over and over again.

  • Optum Care ACO West participates in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). MSSP works to improve health care results and the patient experience, and to reduce costs for those with traditional Medicare.
