Our urgent care locations are staffed by highly trained doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They’ll make sure you get the care you need. And you don’t have to be an Optum patient to see us. Simply walk in. 

We care for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Minor cuts 
  • Minor injuries, sprains and strains
  • Earaches
  • Eye irritations or injuries
  • Skin rashes
  • Coughs, colds, sore throats, flu and most fevers
  • Stomach pain
  • Pain when urinating
  • Mild shortness of breath
  • Vomiting

Urgent care services that are listed as “contracted” are not owned and operated by Optum. If you want to be seen at one of these centers, call them directly for information about their hours and services. 

When to go to an emergency room

If you have a life-threatening emergency, such as chest pain or bleeding that won’t stop, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital right away.

  • We see patients on a walk-in basis and make every effort to keep wait times short. But depending on the day or time of year — flu season, for example — wait times may be longer.

    OR
  • A nurse will:

    • Take your temperature and other vital signs
    • Ask basic questions about your health 
    • Direct you to wait in the reception area until an exam room is open
    OR
  • During busy times, we may set aside certain rooms for patients with simpler medical conditions. These rooms become available more quickly. 

    OR
  • We accept most major HMO and PPO insurance plans. We also accept cash, checks and credit cards. Please note that contracted urgent care centers may accept different health plans and payment methods. 

    OR
  • Yes, we see many patients who don’t belong to Optum or have a regular doctor. 

    Please note:

    • If you’re part of another medical group and have HMO insurance, you may need approval to have your visit covered.
    • No approval is needed if you have PPO or EPO insurance, Medicare, or if you plan to pay by cash, check or credit card. 
    OR
  • If you have a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital right away. 

    Examples of this type of emergency include:

    • Suspected heart attack or stroke
    • Poisoning
    • Broken bones that break through the skin
    • Bleeding that won’t stop
    • Severe headaches with no known cause
    • Changes in vision
    • Numbness
