Easy trail mix

With the summer months comes a busier schedule. Sometimes we find it harder to eat healthy and reach for convenient foods that aren’t always good for us. But we don’t have to. Why not pack a snack to take with you? Try this easy trail mix recipe for your next errand:



  • ½ cup honey roasted almonds
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • ½ cup whole grain “O’s” cereal


Chop the dried apricots. Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Place into sandwich bags so they are easy to take with you.
